Letterbox Drying Ducts

FLR Letterbox ducts ensure optimum storage conditions for vegetable and seed crops.

Our systems provide precise monitoring of both air & crop temperatures and humidities to enable accurate control of fans, heaters, heat exchangers, air control louvres, humidification, and refrigeration where required.

Ducts can be supplied with remotely controlled outlets operated from walkway level or ground level. These can be manually operated, or automated with electric linear actuators. The duct side ply can be extended to the roofline with timber framing to form a walkway-mounted air-mix and fan plenum.

The name “letterbox” refers to the shape of the duct outlets which are long and narrow, resembling a traditional mailbox slot.
